FAQs

Please read our Terms & Conditions to confirm that you are eligible to participate in our Races. The official Registration Period opens approximately 6-8 weeks before the race date. Registrations will automatically close once the participation limit per race is met. All registrations are submitted online. Participant can choose the race and the preferred registration level and proceed with online registration according to the instructions given. Participant can register on our website in the registration section. Or by clicking here.

Participant may settle the registration fee through online payment system. In order for the registration to be valid, participant needs to proceed with the settlement of the registration fee after submission. We accept NEFT/RTGS, Debit/Credit cards, Net banking, UPI payments, and Wallet transfers (Phonepe, Airtel Money, Freecharge, Jio Money, Payzapp, Mobikwik, Ola Money).

After the participant has settled the registration fee as above, a registration confirmation email will be sent within seven (7) working days.

The confirmation emails are sent instantly, however in some cases due to delayed settlements, confirmation emails are sent within seven (7) working days, from the moment participant successfully submits the registration and after they have settled the registration fee as per instructions (read above in “How can I pay?”)

After seven (7) days, if you have still not received the confirmation email:

  • Check your spam folder in case the e-mail bounced there.
  • If you still have not found it, make sure you have followed ALL the payment instructions and your payment is complete.
  • If you have settled your registration fee as per instructions, and still have not received the email, please contact us at support@vadodaramarathon.com

About ten days before the race, all participants who have successfully registered for any of the event's races will receive an email, informing them about their bib number.

Finishers do not have to pick up the kit physically. All finishers will get the finishers kit delivered through courier, as per given shipping address.

Participants can start any day between 4th and 10 Jan 2021, and finish by end of 10th January 2021.

We advise all participants to read our COVID-19 Advisory before starting the race.

Participant can choose to run anywhere, on any route that they prefer.

YES. Participant can run/walk within their home if they want, if they have proper space. They may also choose to run/walk on the treadmill.

Yes. Participants have to finish their chosen race at a stretch and cannot complete it in parts.

The last date for MGVM Virtual Marathon is 3rd January 2021.

Participants can use any well-known and reliable app, like Strava, Google Fit, Garmin, Run-keeper, Nike Running, or whichever app they are using currently.

In this case, the participants have to enter the same shipping address for all the participants of the group while registering.

If participant race data time is slower than the cut-off time mentioned for in that race, then participant can choose to run again (later after proper rest and recovery) to improve their timings. Or participant can choose to upload the current data and they will receive an e-certificate for Walkathon.

This is a self-supported Sports challenge and you are solely responsible for your health, run and safety at all times.

If you have not selected and paid for Advance Rewards (i.e. t-shirt and medal) at time of registration, then you are not eligible for the same.

Participants can download certificates from our website from the rewards/certificates section within five (5) days of the event.

If the participant has specifically selected and paid for the t-shirt and medal (Advance Rewards) at the time of registration, then you will receive your medal and t-shirt, within thirty (30) days post event by post as per the given shipping address.

Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

International Courier/Shipping Charges will be charged extra on advance rewards for international shipping addresses.

Participants are eligible for free registration if they are from the mentioned categories –

  • School Students,
  • College Students,
  • Divyang/Disable Participants,
  • NGO Members,
  • Jawaans/Defence Personnel,
  • Covid Warriors.

Registration is approved on submitting the relevant and valid photo – ID.

The following is the list of accepted photo IDs for free registration.

  • School Students – Valid student photo ID issued by the school.
  • College Students - Valid student photo ID issued by the college
  • Divyang Participants – Any valid government approved disability ID/Certificate
  • NGO Members - Valid member photo ID issued by the NGO
  • Jawaans - Valid jawaan photo ID issued by any defense authority.
  • Covid Warriors - Valid public service photo ID issued by any government authority.

Yes, a participant can register and run for as many races/walks they wish to. Participant needs to submit race data for all the categories they have registered. Race data once submitted cannot be changed.
